Ken Low’s Shaolin Kung Fu Institute and The Canada International Sport Sanshou Federation are joining forces to host the Team Canada vs. Team China sport Muay Thai Fighting Championships at the River Rock Casino in Richmond.

The fight card currently looks like this:

- Sinisa Knezevic vs. Fu Gaofeng. 80kg
- Jesse Miles vs. Cao Yaomin. 75kg
- Nate Smandych vs. Xiao Jie. 65kg
- Hakeem Dawodu vs. Feng Jie. 65kg
- Nicci Soutiere vs. Bai Jing. 60kg
- Jessica Gladstone vs. Li Hui. 54kg

This will be some of the highest-level muay Thai kickboxing that Vancouver’s seen in recent memory, so don’t sleep on it. After all, watching skilled muay Thai fighters engage in some high-level kickboxing is a way better reason to visit the River Rock Casino than gambling away the kids’ college funds. Come out and support martial arts competitions in Vancouver!
